This Position reports to:
Business Chief Financial Officer This role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a strong internal control environment across the region, ensuring compliance with ABB Robotics' Assurance and Internal Control Framework. The role focuses on driving process optimization, managing risk, and partnering with finance and corporate teams to strengthen controls, support J-SOX compliance, and enable operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Ensures a coordinated and consistent approach to the implementation, maintenance, and assessment of internal control system for the organization under scope. Coordinates activities related to design, implementation, and maintenance of a system of internal control, in line with group standards. Drives the simplification of ICoFR environment and other related systems, and drives planning and timely execution of the operational testing of controls for the group's annualSOX - 404
assertion. Monitors and follows up on the timely completion of all management testing related activities in their area of responsibility. Monitors the control deficiencies and guides the management to remediate them in a timely and sustainable manner. Coordinates and delivers training programs for the development of assessors, testing managers, and new process owners and control owners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree is required. Master's preferred. 10+ years minimum of proven experience in related to risk, audit, and finance. Good business knowledge and working experience around process improvements, and solid understanding of Internal Controls methodology & practices, especially J-SOX. Solid understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP (ECC and S4/HANA). Good project management. High commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
