Job Description:
Risk Manager/Claims opening in Roslyn, New York. Leading Housing Developer seeks a multi-line Claims professional who is also interested in assisting with overall risk management. Primary duties will involve handling claims, reviewing vendor insurance compliance, and implementing loss prevention programs to protect company assets; coordinate the investigation and settlement of claims with third-party administrators and legal counsel; oversight of sub-contractor & vendor qualification process; evaluate potential hazards, including financial, property, and operational risks, by reviewing statistical data and collaborating with departments; create and implement risk management policies, loss prevention programs, and safety training to reduce risk exposure; assist in procurement and review of insurance policies in conjunction with risk management team. Ideal candidate has with 5-10 years of experience; Professional certifications such as CRM (Certified Risk Manager), ARM (Associate in Risk Management), AIC (Associate in Claims) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) are helpful, (DC13119)
