Senior Privacy & Compliance Risk Program Manager Location:
Remote (West Coast/PST Preferred)Duration:
6 Months Contract (Potential Extension) Overview CLIENT is seeking an experienced Senior Privacy & Compliance Risk Program Manager to support critical privacy, employment compliance, and data protection initiatives. This role requires a highly analytical professional with deep expertise in risk assessment, compliance frameworks, and technical data environments. The ideal candidate will partner closely with product and infrastructure teams to proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks while driving "compliance by design" principles across initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed risk assessments related to privacy, employment compliance, and data protection initiatives. Apply and maintain risk and compliance frameworks across complex product-facing programs. Collaborate with technical and infrastructure teams to understand data processing environments and associated compliance risks. Support People Data Review initiatives requiring high attention to detail, urgency, and execution accuracy. Influence product development decisions through proactive compliance-by-design strategies. Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy standards. Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment and risk mitigation planning. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in risk assessment, compliance management, assurance, or governance roles. Strong expertise in privacy compliance, employment compliance, GDPR, CCPA, and data protection regulations. Technical understanding of infrastructure systems, data processing, and product environments. Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills. Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-visibility environments with precision and ownership. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's Degree required. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting product or platform compliance initiatives within large technology organizations. Familiarity with compliance-by-design methodologies.
