Job Description
Risk and Insurance Manager Location:
Irving Service Center Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (Currently 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)Compensation:
$140,000 - $160,000 (DOE) + Profit Sharing The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Risk and Insurance Manager to lead and modernize their loss control function. This isn't a role for a "check-the-box" administrator; they are looking for a strategic partner who can influence safety culture across the organization. Based at the regional Service Center, you will bridge the gap between corporate strategy and field execution, guiding the business toward stronger practices through collaboration and credibility rather than top-down mandates.Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:
Transition the department from tactical oversight to a forward-thinking, strategic partner within the business.Field Partnership:
Build deep, trust-based relationships with field leadership to ensure loss-control initiatives are practical, respected, and effective.Collaborative Management:
Work seamlessly with third-party consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive risk mitigation strategies.Departmental Evolution:
Strengthen the existing department by identifying gaps, shaping future direction, and mentoring internal talent.Influence & Advocacy:
Act as a poised and polished advocate for loss control, using data and interpersonal influence to drive organizational change.Preferred Qualifications:
Multi-Site Experience:
Proven track record managing loss control in a corporate environment with numerous remote work sites.Team Builder:
Demonstrated ability to lead, grow, and unify a professional team.Strategic Acumen:
The ability to see the "big picture" and align loss control goals with broader business objectives.Communication Style:
Polished, poised, and articulate, with the ability to present complex information to executive leadership and field staff alike.Work Environment & Schedule Hybrid Flexibility:
This role currently offers a 4-day onsite and 1-day remote schedule.Please note:
While hybrid work is currently supported, the majority of the work is centered at the Service Center, and onsite requirements may evolve based on business needs.Travel:
Primarily office-based with occasional travel required to engage with field teams and visit work sites.Compensation & Benefits Salary:
Starting at $140,000 for those newer to management, with flexibility up to $160,000 for seasoned experts (15-20+ years of experience).Profit Sharing:
This role is eligible for the company's profit-sharing program, which is an integral component of the total annual compensation package.Compensation / Pay
