Job Description

This non-Civil Service position will provide case management to individuals and/or families who are victims of interpersonal personal violence to meet various needs. The mission of the Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County Office of Family Safety is to increase victim safety and offender accountability by providing vital crisis intervention services to victims of interpersonal violence while maintaining the emotional wellness of service providers. This Mission is accomplished in our court and community-based Family Safety Centers through client advocacy, training, outreach, and multi-disciplinary teams and Family Safety Center collaboration. The Office of Family Safety (OFS) envisions a city, state, and world without violence where survivors are given hope, healing, and justice. Candidates must submit the following to be considered: Resume Cover Letter References Answer supplemental questions Provide comprehensive trauma-informed case management services to victims served by the Family Safety Center including: Pre-screen referred individuals to assess applicability for program. Determine needs and formulate weekly and monthly case plan to address needs. Manage client intakes, session documentation, and assessments. Monitor clients' progress toward client-centered goals. Advocate and refer clients to a variety of community resources. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to update and monitor client progress. Facilitate effective communication with service providers and clients. Identify and facilitate meaningful community partnerships with relevant providers. Provide weekly community-based client meetings. Provide support for clients for legal proceedings, as needed. Input and manage client files and data in a timely manner. Engage in ongoing client meetings and trainings, as required. Perform program evaluation and need analysis studies in order to identify programmatic needs. Provide information for quarterly grant reporting. Comply with Metro Nashville Ethical Standards, and the Office of Family Safety's direct service provision guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Bachelors' Degree from an accredited college or university Understanding of interpersonal violence (human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, stalking and child abuse) Demonstrated ability to work with individuals who have experienced abuse Demonstrated ability and willingness to engage in positive collaborations with partners Demonstrated skills and knowledge in facilitating a trauma-informed environment Ability to recognize and maintain appropriate boundaries Ability to maintain confidentially Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with data entry and grant reporting Masters' Degree in related field Access to flexible means of transportation Problem solver; highly efficient; detail-oriented Previous experience working with victims of interpersonal violence (human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, stalking and child abuse) Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams If you have any questions regarding the position, please contact LaToya Townsend at 615.862.5159
