Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services, and more.Responsibilities:
The Facility Risk Manager is responsible for the execution of the Ardent Risk Management Program across their facility/facilities. This position develops and supports facility-level risk management activities and programs. This position will manage the Risk Management needs across the facility, including risk management policy and procedure implementation, risk identification and mitigation, provide risk management-related education, support, and event investigations. This position will also support patient safety and quality activities as needed.Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of healthcare risk management. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Windows applications and other systems. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to plan, develop, and present programmatic materials in front of an audience of more than 20 people, including senior leadership at the facility and corporate levels. Excellent critical thinking skills, along with the ability to quickly prioritize workstreams and projects. Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with customers and all members of the healthcare & Risk Management teams. Excellent customer-focused interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, utilizing excellent organizational and follow-through skills. Strong problem-solving abilities, along with excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.Preferred Job Requirements:
