UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region's only EMCO program and a Level
III NICU.
Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities The Facility Risk Management is responsible for the execution of the Ardent Risk Management Program across their facility.
This position develops and supports facility level risk management activities and programs.
This position will manage the Risk Management needs across the facility, including risk management policy and procedure implementation, risk identification and mitigation, provide risk management related education, support and event investigations.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to plan, develop, and present programmatic materials in front of an audience greater than 20 people, including senior leadership at the facility and corporate levels.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience is desired. BSN is strongly preferred.
