Job Description

Experteer Overview In this role you build and refine fixed income strategies within Fisher Investments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the Investment Policy Committee and scale the fixed income platform for a global client base. You translate macro insights into portfolio tilts, lead strategy development, and communicate expertise to internal clients and sophisticated external clients. You will work closely with Research, Trading, and Implementation peers to manage rebalance processes and trade lifecycles, driving measurable portfolio impact.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Collaborate to develop and implement fixed income ideas and support IPC decision-making across strategies
  • Lead scaling of fixed income strategies for global clients and develop new strategies to meet client objectives
  • Partner with Research, Trading, and Implementation teams to cover portfolio management processes including rebalances and trade life cycles
  • Translate top-down views into portfolio tilts (duration, curve shape, sector weights, security selection)
  • Lead new strategy development across the global client base
  • Participate in external client meetings and respond to ad hoc requests
  • Maintain and develop portfolio tools to improve performance and scalability of fixed income management
  • Report strategy insights to internal stakeholders and to sophisticated clients through meetings and deliverables
  • Support and development directed by the Group Vice President of Portfolio Engineering Tasks
  • 7+ years of fixed income experience in a similar portfolio management role, including buy-side research and trading
  • Strong desire to lead growth initiatives across teams
  • Proven track record of communicating insights and driving portfolio impact
  • Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets, proficient with financial data systems
