Role Mission:
A large financial client is seeking a Trade Floor Support Analyst to support front-office trading applications within the Fixed Income Credit and Rates business. This role sits directly on the trading floor and works closely with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and offshore support to ensure critical trading systems remain stable and highly available.
DAY TO DAY
  • Provide real-time production support for trading and risk applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and data issues for traders
  • Monitor trading environments using Dynatrace, Splunk, and/or Geneos
  • Perform SQL queries and Unix/Linux troubleshooting for issue investigation
  • Support Bloomberg TOMS, trade flow, batch jobs, and FIX connectivity
  • Manage incidents, escalations, root cause analysis, and production support activities
  • Partner with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Support releases, business continuity testing, and operational improvements
  • Build automation and support tooling using Python and scripting
MUST HAVES
  • 5+ years of front-office/trade floor application support experience
  • Strong Fixed Income knowledge (Credit, Rates, Bonds, Derivatives)
  • Experience with Bloomberg Terminal and TOMS
  • Strong SQL and Unix/Linux skills
  • Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, and/or Geneos
  • Experience supporting high-availability production environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite on the trading floor
Compensation Hourly Rate:
70$-75$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
