Fixed Income Electronic Trading Engineer Location:
New York, NY Type:
Full-Time A global investment bank is looking to add a Software Engineer to its Fixed Income Electronic Trading technology team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with front-office stakeholders to deliver high-performance systems supporting real-time trading across global markets. Responsibilities Develop and enhance trading applications using C# and .NET Build both client-side and server-side components for pricing, order management, and trade execution workflows Support systems responsible for real-time price distribution and RFQ processing Partner with traders, sales, and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions Contribute to system design and implementation of scalable, maintainable architectures Participate in the full software development lifecycle , from requirements through production support Write high-quality, testable code aligned with engineering best practices Assist with production support, including troubleshooting time-sensitive trading issues Work within Agile frameworks and contribute to CI/CD and release processes
Qualifications Required:
Strong proficiency in C# / .NET development Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns Experience with version control systems (Git) Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Exposure to concurrent or multithreaded systems
Preferred:
Knowledge of Fixed Income products or capital markets Experience working on electronic trading platforms Familiarity with CI/CD tools and build pipelines Experience with dependency injection frameworks and ORM tools Additional Information This role sits within a fast-paced trading environment and offers direct interaction with business users.
