Job Description

Description HW Commodity Specialist III (AMZ1531986) (Multiple Positions), Amazon.com Services LLC, New York, NY. Create and execute supply planning strategies for a category or department to meet customer demand and company - critical initiatives. Lead supply vs. demand scenario planning analyses and deliver strategic recommendations. Prioritize activities, including technical qualifications, and align with cross-organizational executive stakeholders to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictability. Manage supplier relationships and performance, and ensure allocation of material to demands based on priority. Be a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets. Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals with executive visibility. Identify and drive realization of opportunities for durable, relative advantage in your category. Up to 25% international and domestic travel required. Salary Range:
$162,700 - $220,200/yr. Basic Qualifications Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Must have:
  • five years of experience with broad supply chain (new product introduction; forecast/demand/supply/or capacity planning; and supplier management);
  • five years of experience with analysis tools (Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, and statistics software);
  • five years of experience developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems; and
  • one year of experience leading negotiations for complex, mission critical cloud technology.
