Job Description

Experteer Overview As Senior Portfolio Engineer, Fixed Income, you will help shape and implement fixed income strategies for a global client base. You'll collaborate with Research, Trading, and Implementation teams to translate macro views into portfolio tilts and oversee strategy development and rebalances. You'll communicate insights to internal clients and top prospects, contributing to scale and evolution of our fixed income platform. This role offers impact across portfolio decisions, client outcomes, and the continued advancement of our investment processes.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Support the Investment Policy Committee in constructing and managing fixed income strategies using macro, quantitative, and risk analyses
  • Ensure portfolios align with IPC views and guidelines; assist with rebalances and risk controls
  • Translate top-down and sector views into duration, curve, sector weight, and security-level tilts
  • Lead development of new fixed income strategies across a global client base
  • Participate in external client meetings and respond to ad hoc requests
  • Maintain and enhance portfolio tools to improve performance and scalability of fixed income management Tasks
  • 7+ years of fixed income experience in a buy-side portfolio management role
  • experience in research and trading on the buy side
  • ability to lead cross-team growth initiatives
  • proven track record of communicating insights and driving portfolio impact
  • ability to manage and manipulate large data sets; proficient with financial data systems
