Job Description

We are a growing public accounting and business advisory firm committed to delivering high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals, businesses, trusts, and corporations. We leverage strong technical expertise and modern tools to help clients navigate complex tax matters and achieve long-term financial success. We are seeking a motivated Tax Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional looking to build expertise in tax compliance, tax planning, and client advisory services while working closely with experienced CPAs and senior tax professionals. Position Overview The Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, assisting with tax planning initiatives, and supporting client engagements. The role involves working with a diverse client base, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and owner-managed businesses. Key Responsibilities Prepare corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returns Assist with tax compliance engagements and ensure timely filing of returns Conduct tax research and analyze tax issues to support client work Prepare tax projections, estimates, extensions, and supporting schedules Review financial information and identify tax-saving opportunities Support tax planning and advisory projects Communicate with clients to obtain documentation and resolve inquiries Respond to tax notices and assist with tax authority correspondence Maintain accurate client records and working papers Stay current with changes in tax legislation Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of tax or public accounting experience Strong understanding of tax principles and regulations Experience preparing individual and corporate tax returns Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications CPA designation or working toward CPA certification Experience with corporate, trust, and partnership tax filings Exposure to tax planning and advisory work Advanced Excel skills Experience in a public accounting environment
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
