About This Role
We are looking for consultant to support operational reporting of sales & use tax operations in a high-volume environment. Assist with compliance, reconciliations, audit support, and cross-functional coordination related to transactional taxes across multiple jurisdictions. Pay rate $60-65/hour depending on experience - plus benefits
3-6 month project
Hybrid - 3 days onsite
What You Will Work On
Prepare and review sales & use tax filings across state and local jurisdictions
Support tax account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with tax notices, audits, and document requests
Research indirect tax issues and jurisdictional requirements
Partner with accounting, operations, and AP teams to ensure tax accuracy on transactions
Maintain exemption certificates and supporting tax documentation
Assist with process improvements and tax automation initiatives
Support month-end close activities related to indirect tax
Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week What You Will Bring
Experience with sales & use tax compliance in a multi-jurisdiction environment
Strong understanding of indirect tax processes and reporting
Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and tax research
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and operations teams
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence required up to 3 days weekly
