Up to $150,000 DOE + Bonus Opportunities Join a Prestigious Downtown San Diego CPA Firm A highly respected and established CPA firm in Downtown San Diego is seeking an exceptional Senior Tax Manager / Tax Associate III to join its growing team. This opportunity is designed for top-tier tax professionals with exclusive prior CPA firm experience from Considine & Considine, EisnerAmper, or Moss Adams only. We are seeking a polished, technically strong tax professional with leadership potential, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to thrive in a sophisticated public accounting environment. Exclusive Required Background Candidates must have recent CPA firm experience ONLY from one of the following: Considine & Considine EisnerAmper Moss Adams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business field Must have completed or be on track to complete 150 hours required for CPA exam eligibility Active CPA license OR CPA license in progress required 3+ years (ideally 2-5 years) of tax experience exclusively within certified public accounting firms Strong technical tax preparation and tax research background Proven supervisory experience reviewing tax work and mentoring junior staff Deep commitment to client service, accuracy, and professional growth Core Responsibilities Tax Engagement Leadership Develop a command of pertinent IRC sections, regulations, and court precedent Conduct advanced tax research utilizing firm resources and external authorities Prepare and review a wide variety of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities Handle more comprehensive and complex tax engagements with increasing autonomy Supervise staff on tax return preparation and tax projects Review work product for accuracy, compliance, and quality assurance Partner closely with firm leadership to support strategic tax planning and client advisory services Demonstrate the leadership qualities and technical skill expected at the Tax Associate III / Senior Tax Manager level Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary up to $150,000 depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Life Insurance 401(k)
