Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically sharp Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to complex tax engagements, acting as a bridge between our junior staff and firm leadership. Prepare and perform an initial review of complex federal and multi-state tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.
Advisory Support:
Assist Managers and Partners in developing and implementing proactive tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities for our innovative client base.
Technical Research:
Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters, including tax law changes and industry-specific regulations, providing clear summaries for the team.
Client Engagement:
Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, helping to gather information and provide status updates on ongoing projects.
Team Mentorship:
Provide guidance and support to tax associates and interns, ensuring accuracy and fostering their professional growth.
Required Qualifications Experience:
3+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Credentials:
Active CPA license (or a dedicated candidate currently sitting for the exams).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of tax compliance for pass-through entities and high-net-worth individuals.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cloud-based tax software and modern research tools.
