Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant with strong knowledge of foreign tax preparation and QuickBooks Online bookkeeping. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced tax environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and is comfortable managing both tax and bookkeeping responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is:

detail-oriented organized proactive technologically adaptable experienced in both tax and accounting workflows ResponsibilitiesTax Preparation & Compliance Prepare individual and business tax returns: MUST know Intuit Proseries Prepare and assist with foreign/international tax filings including: FBAR Form 5471 Form 8938 Foreign income reporting International disclosures Review financial records and supporting documentation Communicate with clients regarding tax documentation and missing items Assist with tax planning and compliance matters Maintain organized digital tax files and workpapers Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax regulations Bookkeeping & Financial Management Perform bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Maintain accurate general ledger records Categorize transactions and maintain bookkeeping accuracy Assist with financial reporting and monthly reconciliations Support accounting cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping projects Software & Systems Utilize ProSeries Tax Software for tax return preparation Work within internal workflow and operational systems Maintain organized digital client records Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives Qualifications 3+ years of tax preparation experience preferred Experience with foreign/international tax returns preferred Strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience Experience using ProSeries Tax Software is required Strong understanding of: individual tax returns business tax returns bookkeeping principles accounting workflows Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and client service abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines during tax season Preferred Qualifications CPA, EA, or accounting certifications are a plus Experience working in a CPA or tax office environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Experience with operational workflow systems and modern accounting technology Work Environment This is a fully in-office position located in North Miami, Florida.
