Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Tax Analyst and become a vital contributor to our constant growth excellence! In this energetic role, you will leverage your tax expertise to ensure compliance, optimize tax strategies, and support our financial operations. Your analytical skills and deep understanding of tax laws will drive accurate reporting and strategic planning, empowering our organization to thrive in a complex regulatory environment. Responsibilities Preparation and electronic filing of US tax returns for individuals or businesses - Collection and review of financial records, such as Brazilian income tax returns and accounting documentation like Balance Sheets and P&L, for data imputation and determination of appropriate tax deductions Providing exceptional customer service, addressing client questions and concerns Staying up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance Using tax software to enter and analyze data for tax preparation Collaborating with clients to gather the necessary information for tax returns via WhatsApp messaging using a business number, phone, or email Proven experience in tax accounting or public accounting roles with a strong foundation in financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account analysis. Demonstrated knowledge of estate planning techniques including wills, trusts & estate law; securities law; non-profit accounting; and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs. Familiarity with financial software tools like QuickBooks, Xero or similar platforms for bookkeeping and financial report writing. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Skills and Qualification Must speak Brazilian Portuguese Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specially in Excel Biweekly pay, rate will be based on experience.
