Job Description
Tax Advisor (CPA or EA) - High Net Worth Advisory Position Overview This is a high-growth advisory role designed for a hungry, driven CPA or Enrolled Agent interested in becoming a future tax strategist. You will support and learn directly from the firm's lead Tax Architect while managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. This role involves both tax compliance and strategy - an ideal fit for someone who wants to move beyond routine prep work into true advisory and planning. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing ongoing advisory, tax planning, and relationship management. Prepare and review tax returns with increasing emphasis on advisory and strategy. Support senior leadership in executing tax architecture plans, entity structuring, and optimization. Conduct research on tax code changes and prepare recommendations for client impact. Assist with day-to-day advisory tasks, document requests, and client communication. Create credit/debit memos, support entity management, and help maintain documentation for audits. Participate in learning sessions with the Owner/Tax Architect to strengthen strategic tax skill sets. Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and other partners in the "fractional family office" ecosystem. Qualifications CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) required. 3-7+ years of tax experience; high-net-worth client exposure required. Strong interest in tax planning, strategy, and long-term advisory work. Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with strong follow-through. Hungry, growth-minded professional who wants to elevate beyond typical compliance work. Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative, fast-paced boutique environment.
