ABOUT NEIL JESANI ADVISORS
Neil Jesani Advisors is a multidisciplinary advisory firm serving over 1,500 ultra-high-net-worth clients across tax planning, tax controversy, trust & estate and asset protection structuring, wealth management, and business advisory. Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale with an office in Las Vegas, the firm has been doubling in size annually and is targeting a public market listing within 24-36 months. We are building a dedicated Business Tax & Advisory platform to serve the businesses behind our UHNW client base
  • privately held companies, public corporations, family enterprises, PE-backed platforms, and closely held entities with real tax complexity.
This is a standalone practice:
no audit, no attestation
  • pure advisory and compliance across Business Tax, Transaction Advisory Services, and CFO Advisory.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Vice President, Business Tax & Advisory
  • a founding, partner-level leadership role to build and run NJA's mid-market Business Tax practice. This role carries the title of Vice President and is structured as a partner-level position in every respect
  • compensation, client ownership, meaningful upside, and decision-making authority. This is not a seat in an existing structure. You are building the practice
  • setting the client standard, hiring the team, and owning the
P&L. NJA
provides the platform: 1,500+ UHNW clients whose businesses represent an immediate pipeline, a dedicated business development team that generates and qualifies introductions, and an integrated practice alongside Transaction Advisory Services and CFO Advisory. The three practices share pipeline, cross-refer actively, and deliver an outcome for clients that no standalone tax firm can replicate. Engagements are structured as fixed monthly retainers
  • no timesheets, no billable hour culture, no write-off conversations.
You engage with clients as a trusted advisor, not a billing unit.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build and lead NJA's mid-market Business Tax practice
  • strategy, hiring, client development, and P&L ownership Deliver complex federal and multi-state corporate tax compliance and planning across C-corps, partnerships, and pass-through structures Advise on M&A tax structuring
  • buy-side and sell-side due diligence, deal structuring, and post-close integration Collaborate with TAS and CFO Advisory leads on integrated client engagements Convert BD-generated introductions into retained relationships and develop your own network in parallel Recruit, develop, and retain a senior team beneath you
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required CPA required 15+ years in mid-market business tax at partner or principal level at a Big 4, national, or top regional firm Deep technical expertise: federal corporate tax, multi-state compliance, pass-through planning, M&A tax Demonstrated track record of building a client base and leading a team A builder mentality

COMPENSATION
Compensation is structured to be market-leading and intentionally open-ended. Base salary, performance bonus, origination incentives, and meaningful upside are all on the table.
