Job Description
Dame, Walker, Hardeman & Co., LLC in Valdosta, GA is looking for a senior level CPA to assist in the continued growth of our Practice. Our primary service area covers from Central Florida to North Georgia. We provide services for clients in real estate & RE development, construction, banking, manufacturing, timber, farming, professionals and many other industries. This role is designed to transition clients from partners who are gradually reducing their client‑service responsibilities. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to step into a mature, stable book of tax work and build long-term relationships. The person filling this position would be responsible for: Oversight/review/training of other staff members and their work Preparing more complicated/consolidated/multi-state returns Consulting internally and with clients on tax matters Tax projections/planning Tax research/compliance Dealing with IRS and tax authorities Our Firm is dedicated to a great work life balance.
