Part-Time, Full-Time, or Seasonal About Us We are a growing tax and accounting firm dedicated to providing accurate, professional, and personalized tax services to individuals and small businesses. We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Tax Professional to join our team. Position Summary The Tax Professional will prepare and review individual and small business tax returns, communicate with clients to gather financial information, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent client service. Responsibilities Prepare federal and state individual income tax returns. Prepare business, partnership, and corporate tax returns. Review financial documents, including W-2s, 1099s, and other tax-related records. Interview clients to collect necessary tax information and identify deductions and credits. Maintain accurate and organized client files. Respond to client questions regarding tax matters. Stay current on tax law changes and compliance requirements. Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous tax preparation experience. CPA license or EA preferred. Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Bookkeeping or accounting experience. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. Flexible scheduling.
