We are hiring two (2) Customer Service Specialist Trainees-Spanish Speaking (Revenue Tax Specialist Trainee-Spanish Speaking) for our Customer Service Bureau in Springfield, IL for a tentative start date of 9/16/2026. This position is responsible for attending training classes on the various tax types and tax laws affecting: Individual Income Tax; Withholding Income Tax; Sales and Use Tax; Business Income Tax and training on GenTax and MyTax Illinois software. While working with the department staff, taxpayers, and businesses on the telephone, in person, and through email, you will also learn interpersonal skills and acquire excellent customer service skills. If you have completed four years of college or have the equivalent experience and are fluent in Spanish and English, are self-motivated, detail oriented, and enjoy receiving the appreciation of others for the service you provide, then we want you! Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
