Job Description:
IFG US is partnering with a client looking for a Senior or Lead Analyst, International Tax (depending on experience level). Reporting to the Senior Manager, this is a tremendous role to get involved in all aspects of tax, including preparation and filing of international tax forms, effective tax rate calcs, and strategy/planning. This role will have a high level of exposure to senior leadership across the organization. Their number one sell is their culture which they walk the walk! Responsibilities Lead the preparation and review of international tax calculations, including items such as Subpart F income, global minimum tax provisions, foreign tax credits, and other cross-border tax considerations. Calculate and maintain earnings and profits for foreign subsidiaries, including tracking relevant tax pools and balances. Act as a technical resource for U.S. federal tax reporting, coordinating data collection and reviewing international tax filings and disclosures. Collaborate with regional teams to gather information required for global minimum tax compliance and related reporting obligations. Support the effective tax rate (ETR) process by providing inputs, analyzing changes, and communicating impacts to stakeholders. Review tax provision data from international business units, including current and deferred taxes, payable balances, and uncertain tax positions. Maintain and support tax provision and compliance systems and related data. Partner with treasury and other departments on cross-border activities such as intercompany financing, dividends, withholding taxes, and foreign exchange considerations. Stay informed on global tax law changes and assess potential implications. Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and documentation within international tax functions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) strongly preferred. 4+ years of experience, preferably in public accounting Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as OneSource and SAP preferred.
