About Schultz & Associates, CPA Schultz & Associates, CPA is a growing Michigan accounting firm serving businesses and individuals throughout Metro Detroit and across the state. Our firm provides a full range of services including business and individual tax preparation, small business accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement auditing, and advisory services. Our clients span many industries including dental practices, veterinary clinics, real estate, nonprofit organizations, restaurants, contractors, and startups. With more than 20 years of service to the local community, our firm prides itself on personalized service, technical expertise, and long-term client relationships. We are expanding our team as we continue to grow into a mid-size regional firm with approximately 20 professionals. We are on track to have a staff of 27-30 in three years. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CPA that can oversee client engagements, and support the continued growth of our firm. This role is ideal for a CPA with strong technical tax and accounting knowledge who enjoys working directly with business owners. The Manager will work closely with firm leadership to deliver high-quality accounting and tax services while maintaining exceptional client relationships. This position includes a Partner Track opportunity for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review business and individual tax returns Assist clients with tax planning Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's helpful but not required) 3-6+ years of public accounting experience Experience overseeing tax engagements Strong knowledge of federal and Michigan tax law Experience with Thomson Reuters products is helpful but not required Strong organizational and leadership abilities What We Offer Competitive salary (typically $70,000 - $95,000 depending on experience) Health and retirement benefits Flexible work environment Partner Track opportunity for high-performing leaders Exposure to diverse industries and complex client engagements Why Join Schultz & Associates At Schultz & Associates, CPA, we believe our clients succeed when they have a trusted accounting partner who understands their business.
