The Impact you will have in this role: As a member of the Tax team, the Senior Associate will support DTCC's global income tax provision process. The role is responsible for contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting, with a focus on deferred tax accounting, effective tax rate analysis, and financial statement disclosures. The role partners closely with Controllership, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting, while supporting a strong control environment.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end income tax provision calculations under ASC 740, including current and deferred tax components Support U.S. federal and state income tax compliance and related processes, including provision-to-return adjustments, state apportionment, and adjustments Analyze deferred tax assets and liabilities, including valuation allowance considerations Prepare effective tax rate (ETR) analysis and explain key drivers and variances to stakeholders Prepare and reconcile tax-related balance sheet accounts and roll-forwards as part of the close process Support FIN 48 / uncertain tax position analysis, including documentation and supporting schedules Assist in drafting income tax disclosures for financial statements and audit support materials As needed, work with others on responses to, and liaisons with, tax authorities on audits and other tax matters Work closely with the Global Tax Team, Financial Operations, Financial Reporting & Accounting to support the financial close and audit cycle Identify and implement opportunities to enhance tax provision processes, controls, and automation Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately •

Qualifications:
