Job Description
Porter Wright has an opportunity for a Corporate Tax Associate in the Columbus, Ohio office to handle federal and state tax matters, assist in corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, as well as review and analyze tax returns and financial statements. An LLM in Taxation is preferred but not required.
Qualifications include:
- Two plus years of relevant tax experience in a law firm or CPA firm
- Strong research and writing skills
- Strong understanding of federal income tax, state and local tax, partnership taxation, and corporate tax principles
- Must be admitted to the practice of law
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Ideal Candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes:
