Job Description

The incumbent for this role will have the opportunity to work across all tax specialties including Indirect Tax, Tax Accounting, and Tax Compliance. In this role, you will: Compilation and completion of sales and use tax returns to ensure Arconic and its subsidiaries remain in compliance with state and local sales and use tax filing requirements. Preparation and completion of sales and use refund claims as necessary. Resolving sales and use tax notices. The monthly reconciliation of domestic tax account balances and the sales and use tax accrual account. Assisting the Director
  • Tax with quarterly income tax calculations and income tax provision analysis. Assisting Senior Manager
  • Federal & State Tax with federal and state income tax return preparation, including estimated income tax calculations. Assisting Manager
  • State Tax with franchise tax return preparation.
Miscellaneous tax filings.
You have:
(required) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related subject from an accredited institution. Minimum 3 years experience in tax compliance. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Exceptional Candidates also have:
(preferred) An understanding of accounting journal entries strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Excellent analytical skills. Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-orientated and be able to manage and prioritize several projects at one time. Experience with CorpTax, CorpSales and Oracle EBS is beneficial. #LI-NW1
