The Role We are looking for a Tax Senior to join our Private Client Services (PCS) group. You will act as a primary point of contact for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), multi-generational families, and C-suite executives. This is a high-impact role with a clear, merit-based track to Manager and beyond.
What You'll Do Compliance:
Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), estates, and private foundations.
Planning:
Assist in sophisticated tax planning and wealth transfer strategies, including gift tax (Form 709) and estate tax (Form 706) considerations.
Advisory:
Research complex tax issues and stay ahead of legislative changes affecting HNW clients.
Client Relations:
Maintain direct communication with clients and their outside advisors (attorneys, investment managers).
Mentorship:
Guide and review the work of tax associates, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications Experience:
3+ years of public accounting experience, specifically focused on High Net Worth or Private Client tax.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Tax (MST) is a plus.
Certification:
CPA license (active) or significant progress toward completion.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or GoSystem) and Excel.
Communication:
Ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients in a clear, digestible way. Why Join Us?
