Position OverviewWe are looking for a Tax Senior with a deep specialization in Partnership returns (Form 1065). In this role, you will take ownership of complex entity compliance, research technical transaction issues, and help mentor junior staff members.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex federal and state partnership tax returns (Form 1065).Manage special allocations, capital account maintenance (Section 704(b)), and basis adjustments (Section 754/743).Analyze operating agreements to ensure proper tax treatment of distributions and allocations.

Identify tax planning opportunities and structural efficiencies for partnership clients.

Research complex partnership tax issues, including debt allocations and technical terminations.

Provide guidance and technical training to staff tax associates.

Communicate directly with clients to gather data and deliver completed work.
QualificationsExperience:
3+ years of public accounting experience with a heavy focus on partnership taxation.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Taxation is a plus.
Credentials:
CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is preferred but not required.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of Subchapter K and multi-state compliance.
Software:
Experience with major tax preparation systems (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax).
