Seeking New Jersey CPA (Independent Contractor- MUST BE IN NJ)

We are seeking an experienced New Jersey-based CPA to provide as-needed (1099) support for a portfolio of small business clients. Please read the qualifications carefully before applying. Applications will ONLY be considered from candidates who meet ALL of the following requirements: Active New Jersey CPA license Based in New Jersey Own and/or operate your own CPA firm or independent practice Minimum of 5 years of experience providing tax and advisory services to small business clients Applications that do not meet all of the above requirements will automatically be rejected. This is not a full-time position. Current needs are primarily quarterly , with occasional ad hoc projects as client needs arise.

Typical responsibilities include:

Quarterly tax planning and tax-saving strategy consultations for small business clients Advising on entity structure and tax elections (including S Corporation elections and related matters) Responding to occasional client tax and accounting questions Potential preparation and filing of business tax returns (compensation to be discussed separately based on the complexity of each engagement)

Compensation:
