Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Tax Associate to join a growing professional services team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio while taking a leadership role in tax compliance, client service, staff development, and project management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality client service and timely delivery. Review tax returns prepared by junior team members and identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements. Prepare and review complex U.S. tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and interns. Monitor engagement budgets and project timelines. Collaborate directly with clients to gather information, resolve tax-related matters, and provide practical recommendations. Develop a strong understanding of client operations, business objectives, and industry challenges. Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client meetings. Research and analyze federal, state, and international tax matters as needed. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other related projects. Required Skills Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities. Proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong client service mindset and professional demeanor. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Experience Minimum 3 years of professional tax experience, preferably within public accounting. Experience preparing and reviewing U.S. individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns. Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax compliance requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Education & Certifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
