Role Summary The Senior Tax Associate will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and planning services for complex family groups and multi-entity structures. This position supports a wide range of client needs including preparation and review of individual, trust, partnership, and multi-state returns, as well as quarterly projections and estimates. You will work closely with managers, directors, and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate client information, lead elements of the tax preparation process, and support ongoing family office deliverables throughout the year. This role provides meaningful exposure to sophisticated tax matters with clear pathways for advancement. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex individual, trust, partnership, and multi-state tax returns Assist with initial detail review of tax filings, quarterly reports, and family office projects Prepare and analyze quarterly tax projections and estimates used for planning Organize, manage, and maintain complete and accurate financial information for assigned clients Support preparation of quarterly meeting deliverables for families and internal teams Conduct tax research and provide recommendations for planning strategies and ad hoc client requests Drive the tax preparation workflow to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant filings Leverage staff and interns through clear communication and effective task delegation Support additional family office activities including entity structuring, planning support, and related services Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Three or more years of public accounting tax experience serving high-net-worth individuals or family office clients Strong blend of individual, trust, and partnership tax experience CPA strongly preferred; candidates must have completed the education requirements and ideally passed one or more sections Experience preparing and reviewing multi-entity tax filings and quarterly estimates Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential client information Preferred Skills Previous public accounting experience Experience working with sophisticated, multi-generational family groups Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tax software platforms Call to Action If you are a motivated tax professional seeking to deepen your expertise and work with sophisticated clients in a supportive and high-growth environment, apply today through The Intersect Group with your resume and best contact information.
