In this role, you will prepare and review tax returns for our clients while providing targeted tax advice to support their broader financial planning goals. You will work exclusively with our existing client base, helping optimize their tax positions in coordination with their investment and wealth management strategies. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and a focus on year-round advisory work, avoiding the heavy seasonal demands of traditional tax season. The role may also include paraplanning support for clients (e.g., data gathering, analysis, and preparation for meetings), though prior paraplanning experience is not required. Responsibilities Prepare and review individual tax returns for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Provide proactive tax advice and planning strategies to help clients minimize liabilities, manage multi-state issues, and align tax decisions with their financial and retirement goals. Collaborate with our advisory team to integrate tax insights into clients' overall financial plans. Conduct financial analysis and review client data to identify tax-saving opportunities and potential risks. Support paraplanning activities as needed, such as organizing client information, preparing summaries, and assisting with client meetings. Stay current on relevant tax regulations and communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients in plain language. Maintain organized client records and work efficiently within our established processes and software. Requirements Active CPA license (required). 2+ years of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns (individual and business returns preferred). Strong understanding of tax planning strategies, with the ability to apply them in a financial advisory context. Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to explain tax matters clearly to non-experts. Experience with common tax preparation and accounting software Professional, client-focused mindset with attention to detail and a collaborative approach. Comfort working in a flexible, team-oriented environment serving high-net-worth individuals and business owners. We offer a supportive, low-burnout setting where you can leverage your tax expertise to deliver meaningful value to our clients without the intensity of a traditional public accounting tax season. If you are a CPA looking for rewarding, year-round client advisory work with schedule flexibility, we encourage you to apply.
