ABOUT THE CLIENT A
well-established public accounting firm with over 40 years of industry presence is seeking a Tax Associate to join its growing team. CLIENT REQUIREMENT
  • CPA or EA candidate with degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience preparing complex tax returns within a public accounting environment
  • Strong experience with tax preparation, tax planning, tax research, and client relationship management
  • Proficiency in Excel and tax software including CCH Tax and PFX Engagement
  • Ability to prepare financial statements, compilations, reviews, audits, and trial balance work
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Public accounting firm experience is required
  • Ability to cultivate professional relationships with clients and internal teams
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare complex tax returns for individuals and businesses
  • Provide tax strategy, tax research, and tax planning services for clients
  • Prepare financial statements, compilations, reviews, audits, and trial balance work as needed
  • Utilize cloud-based accounting and tax systems to support hybrid and in-office operations
  • Collaborate with internal accounting teams to deliver high-quality client service
  • Support the growth and expansion of the accounting department
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and team members
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all assigned work
