Overview We are seeking a Tax Associate with strong partnership tax preparation experience to join our team. Experience in the private equity or alternative investments industry is a plus. The ideal candidate has 2 years of public accounting or private equity fund tax experience and is looking to take on a hands-on role within a growing, dynamic firm. Responsibilities include preparing complex partnership returns, supporting PE fund compliance cycles, and assisting with technical research. This hybrid role may be based in Greenwich, Boston, New York, Falmouth, or South Florida. Duties Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, as well as corporations and individuals across private equity, alternative investment, and family office clients. Assist with the full tax compliance cycle for private equity funds, general partners, and management companies. Maintain and update tax workpapers, basis schedules, and supporting documentation. Prepare Schedule K-1/K-3s and investor reporting packages. Support tax return extensions and preparation of quarterly and year-end tax estimates. Conduct research on technical tax issues as needed to support engagements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, supported by relevant tax or accounting experience. 1.5+ years of experience in public accounting or a tax practice focused on private equity or asset management. Working knowledge of partnership, corporate, and individual taxation. Experience with private equity funds, venture capital funds, or investment management clients preferred. Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess or GoSystem. CPA or EA eligibility or active pursuit strongly preferred. Strong ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in contributing to a growing boutique firm. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Ability to work effectively in a balanced hybrid environment and willingness to travel as needed.

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
