Job Description
Tax Senior - Houston (Hybrid) | $85k-$95k 3 years' Public Accounting Experience Required This firm has been around for over 25 years, with a focus on real estate investors and realtors alongside small business owners, with the majority of the clients being with them for a long time. As a firm they differentiate themselves by offering an education first approach to their clients and in this ever competitive market, it sticks out. The Partner at this firm never has to go out and look for work with this unique approach, in fact he's turning work away most weeks with almost 1000 new clients enquiring every year. The firm owner thinks differently here so it only makes sense that the positions look different too, as a Tax Advisor here you won't just be churning out tax returns in the background, you'll work directly with the clients in this client interfacing position working to get the best outcome for them. Now it may seem like a different pace from your current position but don't worry about the settling in period, here you'll be fully supporting with a clear training programme covering everything from the tax returns to the client communication. It's a unique firm I'm sure you're getting from these details, it only makes sense that the career path is unique too. Here there's lots of paths you can follow from a technical tax manager job to a general area manager, the progression is limitless. Busy season here is more than reasonable you'll be working 45 to 50 hours most of the time, with anything over 45 hours during busy season you'll get PTO time back. You're PTO schedule is already great with 2 weeks, sick time on top, and additional days around the federal holidays. You'll also get a healthcare plan, 401k and a competitive bonus structure.
