Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Trust and Estate Tax Senior to manage complex tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates. You will act as a trusted advisor, working directly with clients and mentoring junior staff.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041).Manage estate and gift tax returns (Forms 706 and 709).Analyze trust agreements, wills, and other legal documents for tax implications.

Provide strategic tax planning and wealth preservation advice to clients.

Supervise and mentor tax associates, providing constructive feedback and training.

Research complex federal and state trust/estate tax laws and regulations.

Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and meetings.
QualificationsExperience:
3+ years of public accounting tax experience, focusing heavily on trusts and estates.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Credentials:
CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation highly preferred (or actively pursuing).
Software:
Proficiency with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax) and research tools (e.g., RIA Checkpoint).
Skills:
Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking, and deep knowledge of IRS tax codes related to estates and trusts.
