KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Trust Tax to join our Tax practice.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and/or review fiduciary, charitable and information reporting returns Use tax preparation software - Thomson Reuters

Trust Tax platform; utilize technologies and tools for client service delivery Analyze, prepare, and review tax workpapers and returns, estimated payments and extensions Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities; keep up to date on tax technical developments Manage a book of business and/or supervise the production of tax return preparation by associate tax preparers Notify senior practice management of any issues or problems that arise before they become a critical item and assist with driving the growth of tax technical knowledge for the team
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent trust tax preparation experience and intermediary knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code as it relates to trusts and estates Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business, finance, technology, or data analytics; accounting and taxation is preferred Must be eligible to sit for the CPA or EA or already obtained either Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Must be a team player and resourceful in delivering high quality work with the ability to independently manage assigned account load; able to interact with team members, remote or in-person Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
