Job Description
We have partnered with a global provider on their search for a tech savvy, Sr. International Tax Analyst with the proven ability to operate independently and take ownership of responsibilities with minimal insight. The Sr. International Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions, creating and implementing strategic tax planning, preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns, assisting with merger and acquisition projects, identifying opportunities for tax savings, staying abreast of legislative and regulatory tax laws, reviewing tax projections, preparing tax-related financial disclosures, and conducting research on complex tax issues and providing guidance to management on tax implications. To be successful in this role, the Sr. International Tax Analyst must have in-depth knowledge of international tax laws and regulations, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Prepare and review tax calculations
Identify and mitigate tax risks
Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly projections
Develop tax strategies
Assist with international tax and transfer pricing
Implement best practices and improvements
Coordinate tax audits
Manage and mentor members of tax team
Complete IRS Forms and reporting schedules
Oversee special tax related projects The ideal Sr. International Tax Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration. Other requirements for the Sr. International Tax Analyst role include and are not limited to:
3++ years of focused international tax experience/Big 4 preferred
