As we continue to grow across Central Texas, we're looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and analytical recent college graduate to join our Austin office as a Tax Associate. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves accounting, tax strategy, and solving complex financial puzzles. You'll work directly with our tax and financial planning teams to prepare tax returns, identify tax-saving opportunities, and help clients keep more of what they've worked so hard to earn. This is not a traditional public accounting role. You'll gain exposure to both tax preparation and proactive tax planning while working alongside advisors, CFP® professionals, and retirement planners to deliver comprehensive financial guidance. What You'll Do You will work directly with our tax and planning teams to support clients through tax preparation, tax planning, and retirement-focused financial strategies.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare individual federal and state income tax returns Gather and organize tax documents from clients Review tax returns for accuracy and completeness Assist in identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients Support Roth conversion analysis and tax projection planning Prepare tax planning reports and recommendations Research tax laws and IRS guidance Assist with retirement income tax planning strategies Help analyze the tax impact of investment, retirement, and estate planning decisions Communicate with clients regarding missing information and tax documentation Maintain detailed client records and workpapers Support year-end tax planning initiatives Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, CFP® professionals, and Client Care teams Participate in ongoing training and professional development Who We're Looking For This role is ideal for a recent graduate who enjoys accounting, taxation, and helping families make smart financial decisions.
Qualifications:
