At Heritage Auctions, you'll join a collaborative team that supports a wide range of business functions behind the scenes, including tax and finance operations that help keep everything running smoothly. Headquartered in Dallas with offices worldwide, we offer a fast-paced environment where curiosity is encouraged, learning is hands-on, and no two days are the same.
Position Summary:
The Tax Intern will support the tax team with day-to-day tasks and gain hands-on experience in tax and accounting processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, build foundational skills, and explore a career in tax or finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing basic tax documents and supporting schedules Help collect and organize financial information needed for tax filings Perform data entry and review information for accuracy Assist with maintaining organized tax files and records Support the team with simple research on tax rules and requirements Help with administrative tasks and special projects as needed Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Basic understanding of accounting concepts (coursework is sufficient) Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good organizational and time management skills Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed or currently taking an introductory tax or accounting course Interest in pursuing a career in tax, accounting, or finance
