Job Description

Your Job We are seeking a Senior Tax Analyst in Wichita, KS or Plano, TX to provide tax reporting, position management, and optimization in support of Koch family members individually and their business and philanthropic endeavors. This role will have primary tax reporting responsibility for family-owned businesses, investments, and tax-exempt organizations. Our Team Our Investor Relations team is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with our shareholders by providing transparent, timely, and comprehensive tax reporting. We work cross-capability with attorneys and our accounting team to provide strategic support to the shareholders. What You Will Do
  • Prepare and/or review income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic tax law including Forms 1065 and 990 as well as various state tax filings
  • Manage and work closely with outside providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of returns
  • Support tax positions and participate in tax optimization projects
  • Build relationships with the greater shareholder support team and family offices to better understand the customers and ensure accurate reporting of items on tax returns
  • Manage prioritization of multiple projects and communicate results to the team and leadership
  • Research tax impacts and determine required disclosures and reporting impacts related to transactions
  • Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows
  • Proficient understanding and application of federal tax laws and regulations as well as reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects, drive initiatives forward, and communicate results What Will Put You Ahead
  • Minimum of 2 years of income tax experience
  • Experience with partnership and/or tax-exempt reporting
  • Previous major CPA firm experience
