Job Description Job Summary The Tax Specialist position is responsible for oversight and management of all Association tax related filing and reporting. This is an accounting support position in a fast paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America.
Job Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage a portfolio of branch offices. Manage and remit via theIRS EFTPS
system estimated tax payments as provided by CPA. Track annual Association income tax return filing process. Track Association Sales Tax returns based on filing requirements. Track Use Tax returns based on filing requirements. Track Association Income Tax returns as assigned. Track annual state tax filings. Oversee and manage audit process as assigned. Perform bank reconciliations as needed. Other duties as assigned.Requirements Knowledge and Skills :
Knowledge of IRS and state tax codes. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level. Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level. Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). Professional customer service skills. Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. Time management and time critical prioritization skills.Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED Required. 0 - 3 years of directly related or closely related experie nce.
