We help clients reduce taxes, build wealth, and create lasting legacies through proactive planning, tax compliance, advisory support, and elite execution. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Advisor for a 3-month contract engagement to support our team with complex tax preparation, review, IRS notice resolution, and client advisory work. This is a strong opportunity for a CPA or EA who wants meaningful, high-level tax work without committing to a permanent full-time position. Position Overview The Senior Tax Advisor will assist with preparing and reviewing complex individual and business tax returns, managing IRS and state notices, supporting client tax planning implementation, and helping improve internal processes. This role requires technical tax strength, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work directly with leadership and client-facing team members. Responsibilities Prepare and review complex individual tax returns Prepare and review business tax returns, including 1120, 1120-S, and 1065 returns Support tax work for high-income entrepreneurs and real estate investors Handle IRS and state tax notices from start to finish Communicate with clients and tax agencies in a professional manner Support proactive tax planning implementation Assist with quality control for client deliverables Help improve tax workflows, checklists, documentation, and internal processes Work directly with the CEO and leadership team on high-level client matters Use modern tools and systems to increase accuracy and efficiency Qualifications CPA or EA required Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex 1040 returns Experience with business returns strongly preferred Experience handling IRS notices and client representation Strong organizational and communication skills High attention to detail Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work Comfortable working in person at our Round Rock, TX office Able to work in a fast-paced, growing firm environment Engagement Details 3-month contract role In-person position in Round Rock, TX Office-based work environment Potential for additional future opportunities depending on fit and business needs Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced CPA or EA who can quickly step in, manage complex tax work, communicate clearly, and help maintain a premium client experience. This person should be proactive, accountable, and comfortable supporting both compliance and advisory-related tax work.
