GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to process registrations from employers, maintain & update existing employer accounts such as account closures and third party access. Provide customer service to employers needing assistance filing their quarterly reports, assist in collecting past due reports and payments from employers, & assist in detecting possible fraud against the state unemployment insurance program. The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed at the job level. Responsible for reviewing employer registrations and gathering pertinent information from employers and other sources to determine UI liability according to WY State Statute and federal TPS standards. Monitor registration team emails and incoming paperwork and route to the proper person. Responsible for assisting third parties with adding/removing clients and establishing new third party accounts. Provide customer service to employers, third parties and other government agencies as needed via various means of contact. Provide basic technical support to users of the unemployment website. Assist the Accounts Receivable section with the processing of quarterly mass mail . Responsible for processing employer closure requests by gathering pertinent information from employers and other sources to properly close accounts according to WY State Statues and federal TPS standards. Assist with other duties assigned by management.PREFERENCES
Preference may be given to applicants who have prior experience with the statutes, rules, regulations, policies & procedures of the Unemployment Tax Division.KNOWLEDGE
Ability to learn the statutes, rules, regulations, policies & procedures of the Unemployment Tax Division. Ability to learn the federal Tax Performance System requirements. Knowledge of business management practices, various accounting systems, and payroll practices. Skill in computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet usage, written and verbal communication, and researching public information. Ability to balance multiple tasks, work independently, and provide excellent customer service.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree Experience:
0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Benefits and Eligibility)OR Education & Experience Substitution:
3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Benefits and Eligibility)Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
