Our strategy is meticulously tailored to meet our clients' unique financial needs, guaranteeing personalized and results-driven solutions. The Negotiator (Consumer Debt Defense) is responsible for securing favorable settlements on unsecured debt accounts prior to litigation. This role requires strong negotiation skills, financial acumen, and the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline of accounts while meeting performance targets. Working closely with attorneys, the negotiator communicates with creditors, collection agencies, and clients to develop settlement strategies, calculate offers, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines. Ideal candidates are persuasive communicators, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Contact creditors, collection agencies, and law offices to negotiate settlements on behalfof clients. Manage a pipeline of accounts and meet performance targets (KPIs). Calculate acceptable settlement offers based on internal guidelines. Communicate with clients to assess available funds and discuss settlement options. Prepare and submit documentation for settlement approvals and payments. Review settlement letters for accuracy and compliance.Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution At least two (2) years of experience in debt settlement negotiations or collections. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated with a "go-getter" attitude and a client-first mindset. Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred. Experience working in a legal or financial services environment, preferred.Core Competencies:
