Medical Collections Agent (TEMP-PERM)

On-site role in Redlands, CA $20 hr.

Hours:

M-F, 8-5pm •no time off first 90 days on assignment •

JOB SUMMARY

Collectors review open accounts for accuracy and drive collection efforts. Must adhere to DWC timeframes. Use multiple software applications to research and communicate with insurance, bill review companies and law firms. Phone communication required. Collectors have KPI's that they are expected to meet.

: Review unpaid accounts to determine status Manage caseload in a timely manner adhering to DWC guidelines Log all collection efforts Contact parties via phone, email, portal, fax, mail Collect payments in accordance with DWC guidelines Meet department wide KPI's Learn and remain up to date with DWC Med Legal Fee Schedule QUALIFICATIONS and

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a high school diploma or GED. Typing and data entry skills Basic computer software knowledge Sharefile, Daisybill, Quickbase, Outlook software applications all pluses Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Able to work independently and in a team environment Good decision-making, analytical and problem solving skills Good attendance
