Job Description

at State of Delaware in Dover, Delaware, United States Job Description This position involves the application of complex fiscal/financial/auditing functions in connection with reviewing and processing documents and assisting taxpayers in the Public Service area. Advanced technical knowledge and the ability to apply complex state and federal laws, rules, and regulations to evaluate taxpayer accounts and respond to taxpayer questions is desired. The ability to multi-task between in person taxpayer customer service and inbound taxpayer phone calls is important. This position may be cross trained in other functional areas, including collections, income tax, gross receipts, and withholding tax processing. JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Fiscal Associate II Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Six months' experience in processing accounting, auditing or payroll transactions following applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures. Six months' experience in determining compliance of financial transactions with required documentation, computations, codes, signatures, rules or regulations. Six months' experience in preparing financial reports such as combining and presenting financial data from multiple sources in an organized format.
