We're looking for an experienced auditor who values flexibility, autonomy, and a collaborative environment where clients are more than just numbers on a financial statement. Our audit practice focuses primarily on nonprofit organizations, homeowners associations, and governmental entities. If you also enjoy tax work, you'll have the opportunity to prepare Form 990s and assist with business and individual tax returns throughout the year if interested.
What You'll Do:
Plan, perform, and complete audits, reviews, and compilations. Lead audit engagements for nonprofit organizations, homeowners associations, and governmental entities. Prepare Form 990 returns for nonprofit organizations. Communicate directly with clients and develop trusted relationships. Research accounting and auditing issues and help clients implement accounting standards. Prepare business and individual tax returns during tax season if interested.
What We're Looking For:
Public accounting experience performing audits is required. Experience auditing nonprofit organizations, governmental entities, or homeowners associations is preferred. Experience preparing Form 990 returns is a plus. Tax preparation experience is a bonus but not required. CPA license is welcomed but not required . Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements. Someone who enjoys building relationships and finding practical solutions for clients.
